The experience
To experience Ho Chi Minh City, you need to do two things: Ride a motorbike, and eat the food. On this tour, you’ll do both. Zooming across five districts with your English-speaking guide, you’ll hop on and off your motorbike to taste most popular street food in Vietnam: bun bo hue, nuoc mia, banh mi, goi cuon, and so much more—including ice-cold drink, perfect for those hot Saigon nights.
Lasts 4 Hours – Small group tour – Each person will have a private licensed driver. Private option is available. We have 2 departures a day: 1:00 PM / 6:00 PM
Our Menu:
There are 12 tastings on the Ho Chi Minh food tour:
- BUN BO HUE: beef noodle soup, which is not a Pho, that dish you can find anywhere.
- JASMINE TEA: Iced jasmine tea, which is an extremely important part of Vietnamese culture.
- CHUOI NUONG: Coconut milk grilled plantain, which is a bit sweet and salty, with coconut milk sauce. It was voted one of the 10 best street foods in the world.
- Banh Khot (savory crispy pancake with shrimp) served with a lot of herbs and salad and special dipping sauce.
- BBQ Beef wrapped in Betel Leaf
- SPRING ROLLS: fresh rolls with shrimp and peanut sauce.
- Enjoy a cold Saigon Beer at the most famous hangout spot for locals in HCMC
- Grilled Oyster with black pepper sauce and Grilled Oyster with quail eggs
- CRISPY CRACKER: The city’s most famous local snack made from egg whites whipped with sugar and sesame seeds, or ginger, or banana.
- CALDO DE CANA: cold cane juice with kumquat, a kind of lemon. It is the most popular juice in Ho Chi Minh City.
- BANH MI: the best-known baguette in the world, with sausage, pâté, meat, pickled vegetables (and coriander). It’s Vietnam’s #1 street food.
- FLAN CAKE OR SWEET SOUP: two very famous desserts in the city, the egg and milk flan, and the sweet black bean soup.
Itinerary
After a fun ride on the back of the scooter, our first stop is Beef Noodle Soup ( Bun Bo Hue – NOT PHO that you can find everywhere in Vietnam).
After the first meals, your guide driver will take you to a “food heaven” in District 3. Street food sold here is diverse since people in the area come from many places and have different taste. Climb up to the buildings and see the contrasting architecture between the modern and the traditional.
The next stop for food is in Cambodian market. Over here you will sample Banh Trang Nuong and Cryspy Banana Cracker
Hop on the scooter and get to another area to enjoy the most popular street food in Vietnam – Banh My – This food is listed as #1 street food that Vietnamese people eat almost every day because it is very convenient and delicious.
More food is coming, we will stop and sit on plastic chairs among many locals at a local eatery to have a wonderful night with friend.
During this ho chi minh food tour, we will chat and share the local and food stories to help you understand more about life of people as well as local cuisine not only in Saigon but also the whole Vietnam.

- Passenger not showing up: No refund.
