Sea Octopus is a 5-star luxury dining cruise with a capacity of up to 280 guests, equipped with top-notch facilities and modern amenities to provide you with the ultimate luxury experience in this heritage area. On the Sea Octopus Cruise, guests will have the opportunity to view Ha Long City from the sea, including landmarks such as Bai Chay Bridge, Dolphin Museum, Sun Wheel, and Bai Tho Mountain. Enjoy live violin music and an energetic DJ performance during the dinner program.
Itinerary
- Program 1: 7-hour visit to the bay (Route 2) – Shared tour available daily
- Program 2: 4-hour dinner & sightseeing in Bai Chay – Shared cruise available daily
06:00 – 06:30 | The bus will pick up guests from hotels in the Old Quarter of Hanoi, then head to Ha Long [If you have booked the cruise’s transportation] or you can make your own way to the check-in area at Ha Long International Cruise Port, Ha Long City for check-in.
8:30 – 8:50 | Sea Octopus welcomes guests at the waiting area of the Sungroup International Cruise Port to start the journey of exploring and relaxing on the stunning Ha Long Bay.
8:50 – 9:00 | With the grand sounds of a traditional drum performance by the enthusiastic staff, Sea Octopus Cruise departs from the Ha Long International Cruise Port. Guests are greeted with a welcome drink and a video introduction about the cruise, safety guidelines, and environmental protection.
If guests arrive at the port after 9:00, a private speedboat service will be provided to bring guests to the cruise efficiently. Please pay for this service separately.
9:00 – 10:30 | As Sea Octopus Cruise sets sail, guests will enjoy the majestic scenery of the sacred dragon land as the cruise moves through the bay.
10:30 – 11:30 | The first stop is Sung Sot Cave – one of the most extensive and beautiful caves in Ha Long Bay, featuring shimmering, mystical stalactites and stalagmites that form a variety of unique shapes, creating a surreal world that mesmerizes all visitors.
11:30 – 12:15 | After visiting the cave, guests can choose one of the following two activities to continue the bay exploration:
Explore Luon Cave: Take a bamboo boat or kayak to explore Luon Cave, a beautiful spot in Ha Long Bay. The cave leads into a clear, tranquil lagoon surrounded by towering cliffs, offering a mirror-like reflection of the surroundings. (Additional fees apply)
Private Speedboat Adventure: Experience the thrill of a private speedboat tour around the bay to appreciate Ha Long Bay’s surreal beauty. (Additional fees apply)
The above activities are not included in the tour price. Guests should pay for these activities when booking or directly on the cruise.
12:15 – 12:30 | Return to Sea Octopus Cruise and prepare for an exquisite lunch.
12:30 – 13:45 | Delight in a buffet or set menu lunch at the Sea Breeze or Bayside Delight restaurant. The menu features a fusion of European and Asian culinary arts, including seafood and local specialties prepared by professional chefs.
13:45 – 14:45 | Next stop is Titop Island – one of the most beautiful islands in Ha Long Bay. Here, guests can relax on the Moon Beach with its clear waters or trek up to the top of Titop for a breathtaking 360-degree view of Ha Long Bay.
14:45 – 16:00 | Sea Octopus returns to the shore and docks at the Ha Long International Cruise Port. While waiting, guests can enjoy afternoon tea with music at The Echo Bar or relax at the Lounge Mini, taking in the sunset views over Ha Long Bay.
16:15 | Conclude the journey and exploration of Ha Long Bay with Sea Octopus Cruise.

17:00 – 17:30 Sea Octopus crew warmly welcome you from Sunworld International Port.
17:45 – 18:00 Boarding and enjoying a welcome drink and fruits. The cruise manager will do a short briefing of Halong Bay and the trip schedule, along with a safety and envi- ronmental sustainable travel guide onboard.
18:00 – 18:15 Witness the stunning view of Halong nightlife. Sea Octopus will bring you through Halong’s most famous destination: Bai Chay Bridge, the Sun Wheel, Bai Tho Mountain, the Square, Quang Ninh’s Museum and Dolphin’s Palace.
18:30 – 19:15 Have a taste of the refreshing canape buffet while harmonizing with the romantic melody of guitar and violin.
19:15 – 19:30 The cruise reaches the docking point. Enjoy the scrumptious dinner at Bayside Bayside Delight or Sea Breeze Restaurant with special menu inspired by special-ties of Eastern, Western and local cuisine. Only on Sea Octopus, we present 5 octopus dishes with 5 different styles: Japanese, Korean and Vietnamese – prepared by our experienced and dedicated chefs. Our band will serenade you during the meal.
20:15 – 20:30 After dinner, passengers can relax with the night view of Halong on the 1st and 2nd floor’s Sundeck or participate in other entertainment activities on the cruise. In particular, you can join in our karaoke program or immerse yourself with subli- mated music at Echo Bar & Lounge, equipped with the most modern lighting and sound systems.
22:00 Sea Octopus will take you back to Sunworld International Port. Embark and end your journey with delight.

Booking Policy

Cancellation due to bad weather
If the cancellation be announced by the Management Board of Halong Bay, depend on the timing of the cancellation, following policies will be applied:
- Before departure from Hanoi to Halong Bay (none of the services has been used): 100% refund.
- During the trip (some services have been used: transfer, lunch, day trip, hotel in Halong, etc.): used services will be charged, the rest will be refunded.
- The trip be cut down from 2 nights to 1 night, tourists will be charged a 2 days/1 night trip, plus other used services, the rest will be refunded.
