Cancellation by Customer
- More than 30 days before check-in: FREE of charge
- 15 to 29 days before check-in: 50% of total rate

Cancellation due to bad weather
If the cancellation be announced by the Management Board of Halong Bay, depend on the timing of the cancellation, following policies will be applied:
- Before departure from Hanoi to Halong Bay (none of the services has been used): 100% refund.
- During the trip (some services have been used: transfer, lunch, day trip, hotel in Halong, etc.): used services will be charged, the rest will be refunded.
- The trip be cut down from 2 nights to 1 night, tourists will be charged a 2 days/1 night trip, plus other used services, the rest will be refunded.
- The final cost will be confirmed by your consultant via email. In all cases, please contact us directly for any urgent help. We are here to support you with all of our best!

8:00 – 8:30: Your adventure begins with a shuttle bus (book in the next step with an additional fee) pick-up from your Hanoi hotel, setting the stage for an enchanting 2.5-hour journey to Tuan Chau Harbor.
You will be whisked away by a small boat at around 12:15, sailing toward the Calypso Cruise amidst the captivating scenery of Tuan Chau Island in Ha Long City.
Upon arrival at noon, a refreshing welcome drink awaits, setting the tone for the pampering ahead. After a quick introduction and safety briefing, it’s time to check in and settle into your floating haven.
Then you can delight in a delectable lunch while the cruise gracefully glides through the mesmerizing expanse of Ha Long Bay. The enchantment continues as we anchor in Lan Ha Bay.
Afternoon
Travelers will be guided to uncover the secrets of the bay, venturing into the mystical Dark and Bright Cave. Behold the awe-inspiring karst formation resembling a dragon’s eye, an experience that never fails to captivate.
As you traverse the waters, you and your fellow can choose to paddle your kayak or share a traditional rowing boat with other adventurers and a skilled local rower.
Don your swimwear and return to the Calypso Cruises for an invigorating dip in the ocean or the sundeck pool. You just need to embrace the luxury of the sundeck pool, relish discounted cocktails during the vibrant Happy Hour, and engage with our charismatic bartenders.
After 1 hour, culinary enthusiasts will revel in a hands-on cooking class and food decorating session, guided by our talented chef.

Enjoy a light, nourishing breakfast in the ship’s restaurant, preparing you for the adventures ahead.
A brief bus journey of around 20 minutes on Cat Ba Island will take you from Gia Luan Pier to the spellbinding Trung Trang Grotto. Here, the profound significance of the Karst landscape, shaped over millions of years, is beautifully preserved.
Return to the Calypso Cruises, where a refreshing shower awaits before you check out your cabin at approximately 9:30. A delightful lunch concludes our shared experience onboard.
Settlement of bills leads to a short boat ride back to Tuan Chau dock at 11:30, marking the end of your Calypso journey.
Afternoon
You will disembark at Tuan Chau Port at around noon. You can discover the Halong land tour or go on our shuttle bus back to Hanoi (book in the next step with an additional fee). Arrival time in Hanoi is estimated at 15:00.

12:15 – 13:00: You will have to transition seamlessly onto the Calypso Cruise, courtesy of a tender transfer from the wharf. Then receive a warm welcome with your choice of a refreshing cold drink or a soothing warm beverage.
Immerse yourself in the captivating ambiance as our team briefs you on the cruise details, navigational insights, and crucial safety instructions during the check-in process.
Travelers can savor a delectable lunch as the cruise gently navigates from Halong Bay to the enchanting Lan Ha Bay.

In the afternoon you will set foot on the Dark & Light Cave, your gateway to adventure. Explore at your own pace on a kayak or opt for an authentic bamboo boat rowed by local experts, leading you into the heart of the cave’s secrets.

Let’s rise with the sun and join a revitalizing Tai Chi session on the sundeck, welcoming a new day imbued with serenity and energy. After practicing, you should delight in a quick, nourishing breakfast, setting the tone for the day’s adventures.
Today you will move on a smaller day boat adventure that carries you through the picturesque Lan Ha Bay, culminating in a landing at the charming Viet Hai port. Now, you can go on a 5-kilometer bicycle journey to the tranquil Viet Hai Village, cradled by the majestic Cat Ba National Park, an oasis largely untouched by mass tourism.
Traverse back to the day boat or opt for an electric car ride if you prefer, as we continue our journey to the other side of Lan Ha Bay. After that, we relish a serene lunch as the day boat anchors.
Afternoon
The remaining day we focus on venturing into the mesmerizing Tai Queo tunnel cave, a kayaking expedition leading to the heart of the “Dragon Eye” lake, a sight of pure wonder. We also bask in the allure of the Ba Trai Dao Beaches, inviting you to indulge in the pristine waters.
Then you and your fellow return to the Calypso Cruise and enjoy finger-food appetizers, featuring an array of delectable fruits, as we sail back.

Surrounded by Cat Ba National Park’s unspoiled wilderness, you’ll find yourself immersed in the very essence of nature. A rejuvenating shower back at Calypso Cruises prepares you for the checkout at 9:30.
A fulfilling lunch concludes as the sun sets on this extraordinary adventure, settling your bills as you bid adieu to Calypso Cruise at 10:30 – 10:45.
