Cancellation by Customer
- More than 30 days before check-in: FREE of charge
- 15 to 29 days before check-in: 50% of total rate
- 7 to 14 days before check-in: 70% of total rate
- Less than 7 days before check-in or no-show: 100% of total rate
Cancellation due to bad weather
If the cancellation be announced by the Management Board of Halong Bay, depend on the timing of the cancellation, following policies will be applied:
- Before departure from Hanoi to Halong Bay (none of the services has been used): 100% refund.
- During the trip (some services have been used: transfer, lunch, day trip, hotel in Halong, etc.): used services will be charged, the rest will be refunded.
- The trip be cut down from 2 nights to 1 night, tourists will be charged a 2 days/1 night trip, plus other used services, the rest will be refunded.
- The final cost will be confirmed by your consultant via email. In all cases, please contact us directly for any urgent help. We are here to support you with all of our best!

Morning
8:00 – 8:30: For those who use the pick-up service (book in the next step with an additional fee), our shuttle bus will pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quater and then travel to Halong Bay.
Arrive at Catherine Cruise’s Lounge at Tuan Chau Marina around 11:45, where you can enjoy a homemade welcome drink and meet the crew.
12:15 – 12:30: It’s time to get on board. The cruise manager will give you a short cruise briefing and safety guide, then check in your cabin.
Enjoy your lunch at the luxurious restaurant, which is well prepared by our professional chefs.
Afternoon
Time to explore the spectacular beauty of Halong Bay by kayaking at the magnificent Luon Cave. This place is created by an underground water source that flows inside the mountain and is connected to the sea by a tunnel created by a flooded cave.
You continue to visit the pretty Titop Island for hiking or swimming. Let’s relax on the white sandy beach, swimming in the crystal-clear water, or climb to the island’s top for a panoramic view of the bay.
Return to the cruise for refreshment. Unwind with some nice drinks during the Happy Hour promotion or join in the special afternoon tea and cooking demonstration under the gorgeous sunset off the bay.
Evening
Have a lavish dinner with a fine dining set menu in the luxurious restaurant on Catherine Cruise.
You will have leisure time for evening activities afterward. Let’s try squid fishing or playing mini-golf, games like poker, and enjoy spa services.

Start your wonderful day with a Tai Chi class on the sundeck and witness the beautiful bay at sunrise. Enjoy your light breakfast in the restaurant and prepare for the following excursion.
Visit Sung Sot Cave – the largest cave in Halong Bay, which is in the center of the UNESCO World Heritage area. Rubber shoes and sandals are highly recommended, as you’ll need to walk hundreds of steps to reach this grand grotto.
After visiting the cave, return to our Catherine Cruise to pack your luggage and check out at approximately 9:15.
A full brunch buffet will be served in the dining room while the boat sails back to the main port. Settles your bills at the reception counter.
10:45: Disembark Catherine’s vessel at Tuan Chau marina. Farewell to the cruise team, and wait for your driver.
Afternoon
If you book the transfer service in advance, get in your transfer (book in the next step with an additional fee) and return to Hanoi. Reach your hotel in the Old Quater around 15:00. End of service.

Afternoon
It’s time to explore the spectacular beauty of Halong Bay by kayaking at Luon Cave. This is a unique water cave that going through a mountain. After sailing past the cave, you’ll see a spectacular view of limestone mountains and the emerald sea.
You continue to visit Titop Island for hiking or swimming (Towels are supplied). This is one of the best places to unwind and enjoy the scenery of Halong Bay.
Back on Catherine Cruise, relax with the Happy Hour promotion (Buy One Get One Free) and join in the special afternoon tea and Cooking demonstration.
Evening
Dinner with a delicious set menu is served. Let’s enjoy your meal and have free time afterward. Feel free to join nighttime activities. You can try squid fishing or play mini-golf, and enjoy spa & sauna services.

Morning
Start your wonderful day with a Tai Chi class on the sundeck under the glorious sunrise. Then, enjoy your light breakfast in the restaurant.
You will be transferred to the day boat to discover Halong Bay further. Start to visit Cua Van floating village by sampan boat or kayaking. This is one of the largest fishing villages on Halong Bay.
Get back to the boat around noon to savor a tasty lunch and relax for a bit.
Afternoon
Spend the whole afternoon to visit Trinh Nu Cave and explore Trong Cave Area by kayaking. Don’t forget to take pictures of the gorgeous landscape here.
Later at sunset, back to Catherine Cruise and relax at the swimming pool or Catherine’s bar. You may join the cooking class or have a spa session, too.
Evening
After a day full of amusing activities, let’s enjoy a nice set-menu dinner. Then, you are free to try squid fishing, sing karaoke, play mini-golf, and games like poker as well as spa services. Stay overnight on the cruise.

Transfer to a day boat for the second day
Morning
For early birds, start your wonderful day in Halong Bay with a refreshing Tai Chi class on the sundeck then have a light breakfast in the restaurant.
Take part in a journey to visit Sung Sot Cave – the largest cave in Halong Bay which is in the center of the UNESCO World Heritage area. Shoes and sandals are highly recommended as this cave is huge with many pathways.
After visiting the cave, return to our Catherine Cruise to pack your luggage and check out your cabin at 9:15.
A full brunch buffet is served in the dining room while the ship cruises back to the main port. You can settle your bills at the reception counter after that.
10:45: Disembark Catherine’s vessel at Tuan Chau Marina. You can wait for your driver in the waiting lounge.
Afternoon
For those who order a transfer (book in the next step with an additional fee), arrive at your hotel in Hanoi around 14:30 – 15:00. This is the end of your trip.
