Cancellation by Customer
- More than 30 days before check-in: FREE of charge
- From 11 to 30 days before check-in: 30% of total rates
- From 7 to 10 days before check-in: 50% of total rates
- Less 7 days before check-in or no-show: 100% of total rates
Cancellation due to bad weather
If the cancellation be announced by the Management Board of Halong Bay, depend on the timing of the cancellation, following policies will be applied:
- Before departure from Hanoi to Halong Bay (none of the services has been used): 100% refund.
- During the trip (some services have been used: transfer, lunch, day trip, hotel in Halong, etc.): used services will be charged, the rest will be refunded.
- The trip be cut down from 2 nights to 1 night, tourists will be charged a 2 days/1 night trip, plus other used services, the rest will be refunded.
- The final cost will be confirmed by your consultant via email. In all cases, please contact us directly for any urgent help. We are here to support you with all of our best!

Public holiday surcharge: Surcharge $20 per adult per night applies for Holidays from 29 April to 2 May. - On the second day you will travel on a day boat and do not have access to the mother boat and your cabin until later in the afternoon (for 3 days/2 nights itinerary)

Morning
8:00 – 8:30: If you book our transfer package, get picked up from your hotel, and our driver will take you to Halong Bay – the magnificent Wonder of the World (additional fee for transfer service).
12:00 – 12:30: Check-in reception at dock 35 Tuan Chau then leaving the dock to cruise in the bay.
After checking in on the cruise, you will enjoy lunch in the restaurant while this lovely cruise sails into the heart of the wonderland for the voyage to explore Lan Ha Bay.
Afternoon
Our afternoon will be memorable with the Tra Bau area, known for its unspoiled beauty and natural wonders. Here, you can kayak or swim to get closer to the untouched beauty of the bay (the background of “Kong Skull Island movie”)
Alternatively, you can indulge in the luxurious Jacuzzi onboard, immersing yourself in relaxation while soaking in the breathtaking views of Tra Bau.
You will gather for a delightful Sunset party. Indulge in a selection of delectable treats such as cakes, peanuts, fruits, and tea, all provided complimentary for your enjoyment.
Take part in a cooking demonstration during the party, where you can learn the secrets of Vietnamese cuisine and perhaps even try your hand at preparing a traditional dish.
Evening
Following the evening festivities, a sumptuous dinner awaits you. Delight in a feast of exquisite flavors, sampling a variety of Vietnamese and international dishes expertly prepared by the skilled onboard chefs
There are some entertainments that you can join like squid fishing, and relaxing on the cruise.

Wake up all your senses in the early morning with the Tai Chi session in the sundeck area and the incredible sunrise image in the middle of Lan Ha Bay.
Start your day with a delightful breakfast, savoring your favorite dishes as you prepare for the next adventure on the Dark & Bright Cave, a truly mesmerizing natural wonder.
- Our tender will transport us to the entrance of the cave, where we will have the opportunity to explore its breathtaking beauty.
- As we venture into the cave, you can take a rowing boat trip.
- This immersive experience allows you to admire the stunning formations and intricate details of the cave up close. Let the tranquility of the surroundings envelop you as you navigate through the cave, marveling at its hidden treasures.
10:30: After the cave exploration, we will return to the cruise to check out of our cabins. Please ensure that your luggage is placed in front of your cabin door, ready for disembarkation.
We will gather at the restaurant for a delicious lunch. Enjoy the company of fellow travelers and relish the final moments aboard the Doris Cruise.
Afternoon
The boat will take us back to Tuan Chau Harbor dock 35 at around 12:15.
Upon arrival at Tuan Chau Harbour, a limousine will transfer you back to Hanoi around 14:30 – 15:00 if using our transfer service (extra fee needed).

Alternatively, you can indulge in the onboard Jacuzzi, where you can relax and enjoy the stunning views of the area. This luxurious amenity provides a tranquil oasis amidst the natural splendor.
As the sun begins to set, you will gather for a delightful Sunset party. Indulge in a delectable selection of complimentary treats, including cakes, peanuts, fruits, and tea.

Awaken your senses in the early hours of the morning with a revitalizing Tai Chi session on the sundeck, surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of Lan Ha Bay.
Enjoy a delicious breakfast and take a moment to relax, savoring the morning view of this enchanting Dragon Wonderland.
Next, we will transfer to the day boat, which offers enhanced convenience for reaching the further attractions of Lan Ha Bay.
NOTE: Depending on the weather conditions, the cruise may follow the route Bai Tu Long Bay – Vua Ba – Ba Ham Lake Area for the 2nd day.
We will explore the peaceful Viet Hai Village, a 100-year-old fishing village in Halong with plenty of fascinating things waiting for you to discover.
You can cycle in this peaceful village and take a deep breath of the fragrant paddy field, try fish massage, or talk with gentle and charming locals.
Kayak and explore Lan Ha Bay’s hidden charm. Afterward, you’ll return to the day boat to have lunch and recharge your energy, preparing for an afternoon excursion.
Afternoon
After the meal, have fun kayaking around hidden islands to explore the beauty and charm of Lan Ha Bay.
Then, you can walk or swim at one of the most beautiful beaches of Lan Ha: Ba Trai Dao. With the blue of the ocean blended with the white sand and the calmness of emerald water, this will be a real paradise.
After a long day, we will continue leisure on the day boat while this boat brings you back to the Doris Cruise.
Come back to the Doris cruise and enjoy the pre-dinner sunset party with Happy Hour at the bar while watching the view of the bay at sunset.
If you miss a cooking class on the second day, let’s join another one today with fascinating Vietnamese cuisine.

10:30: After the captivating cave exploration, we will return to the cruise to complete the check-out process from our cabins.

12:15: The boat will transport us back to Tuan Chau Harbor.
Upon arrival, a limousine will be awaiting you, ready to transfer you back to Hanoi at around 15:30 (in case you buy our transfer service).

- The cancellation decision is made by Management Board of Halong Bay on the day of the trip in case of bad weather conditions. In such case, we will make alternative travel arrangement for you on request or offer refund in accordance with the cruise policy.
